I’ve struggled with very severe plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis since I was young. Growing up in New Mexico, I would cover up my arms and legs even in the summer heat, just to avoid the discomfort and stigma. Over time, I learned that regular exposure to vitamin D made a huge difference for me—physically and emotionally. While I know tanning can be controversial, for me it’s been an important part of managing a lifelong autoimmune condition in a natural, non-invasive way.

Tan Bella has been such a gift. The space is spotless, the staff are lovely and respectful, and the environment is calming and clean—right down to the little things like good magazines in the waiting room and friendly energy from the other clients. It feels really peaceful and safe, which I truly value.

One small note: they currently only accept large bills (like $100s) for purchases over a certain amount (I believe $70), so if you prefer to pay in cash like I do, just be prepared for that. Still, that’s a small inconvenience in an otherwise really thoughtful experience.

“Tan Line in Pacifica is always clean, and you feel taken care of the second you walk through the door. The staff are cool, friendly, and helpful. The owner really sets the tone. You can tell she genuinely cares about the experience and about keeping the place dialed in.

Living in Pacifica, the gray weather can get to you. A quick session here seriously shifts my mood. The light therapy and warm beds were just right, and I end up with an even tan every time .

“Long overdue review! I went to Sabrina for my first EVER spray tan a few months ago. I was pretty nervous because I’m super pale and was convinced the whole thing was going to be a huge mistake (I was leaving for a wedding in a day, and coming out orange or splotchy would be documented in family wedding photos for all eternity). However, all my fears were proved wrong. Not only did the tan look incredible, but Sabrina herself was so knowledgeable and made the whole experience really comfortable and digestible. I went back to her in September before another wedding, and had the same amazing result as the first time. Super even coverage, so natural looking, and no joke it lasted a good 10 days. I cannot recommend Sabrina highly enough and will be coming here for a quick glow before ALL fancy events ?“

“I have been here many times, I usually stop by when I am in the area. Very clean interior, they offer foot or body massage and you can request for half and hour or one full hour. The masseuses here are well trained, very welcoming and understanding of my needs. I usually ask for a hour of service so I can get a full body massage where I feel refreshed upon exiting. They also give you a tea or water when the service has completed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great and relaxing massage. I definitely will be back!“
