The best spray tan in SF! I’ve been coming to Shade for about two and a half years, and they have been my savior since moving to San Francisco from New York. I had a spot in NY that I went to for years and never thought I’d find a replacement I loved just as much—until I found Shade.
I’m quite fair, and the team here is incredible at customizing the depth of the tan to fit the vibe of whatever I have coming up. Whether it’s a work trip or a beach vacation, it always looks so natural and never orange.

I’ve never done a spray tan before and honestly didn’t know what to expect—but WOW. This place completely exceeded everything I imagined.
The owner is so experienced and down to earth, she instantly made me feel comfortable and not awkward at all (which I was worried about). And Sabrina—she is incredible. She walked me through everything and gave me the most beautiful, natural glow.
I left feeling confident, radiant, and honestly just so good in my own skin. If you’re even thinking about it, just go. You won’t regret it.
Great experience! It was my second spray tan ever and I’m a pale girlie so I was a little anxious. Chloe did such a great job with the color and all of my question. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and I will be going again
