I am a San Bruno resident and having catch 22 in our town is such a treat! Woman owned and operated, Jay brings the most intention and passion towards her business. I regularly get my hair cut by her after trying to find a good stylist in the area, I will go to her as long as she's willing to take me! It's also a great spot for gift shopping, and of course personal shopping sprees. Since the clothes are consignment it's ethically moral. I absolutely love her other hair products and all that she has as well. Long story short, check out catch 22:)

Classic salon service, honest suggestions for quality products for hair care, accessories and vintage wardrobe. I've been going to Ms. Jay since her DC location in the alleyway. Now that she's in San Bruno, get there like 15 mins early because you do have to pay for hourly parking (not expensive). Upon arrival, you are greeted and you can still thrift in her now more spacious boutique. Vintage finds are insane! For a trim and touch up layering she starts with washing your hair, uses the blades to layer and styles your hair all while she's having a genuine conversation with you. I meant to write this review sooner, but things have been quite busy. That said, this wonderful boutique deserves a 5 star review for so many reason: The selection: it is wonderful, high quality, and stylish. There were so many beautiful pieces I wanted to buy! Sometimes you go to thrifts and there's really nothing there of style, BUT the owner has amazing taste and she knows what she's doing when selecting pieces for her shop. The environment: it is clean, and manicured. At first I thought I was walking into a high end boutique until I realized what a bargain the prices were! The owner: she is AMAZING!
