My first head spa experience and I really enjoyed it at this new salon! The staff was extra friendly and I loved the chill vibe to the salon, it was decorated very nicely and made me feel relaxed right away. I did the basic head spa experience and loved every moment of it, I truly didn't know what to expect but was so relaxed the whole time! I cannot wait to come back again and want to come for my birthday I had such a great time!
I have been wanting to try a head spa for the longest time after seeing so many dreamy reels on Instagram -- and today I finally did it! I had nothing on my agenda in West Garden Grove, saw a banner advertising $40 for 45 minutes, and thought... why not treat myself? Best. Decision. Ever. I walked in without an appointment and was warmly greeted by Tracy (easy to remember). I let her know I was a walk-in, and they graciously took me right in. She showed me to a changing room where I was given a basket for my belongings and a cozy robe to change into. Already feeling relaxed! Once I was settled on the spa bed, the pampering began. They wrapped my feet in warmers and placed a warm pad on my chest -- instant comfort. Holly started with a gentle cleanse of my face, neck, and chest while warm steam flowed over my skin. It felt amazing. Then came the head massage (the dreamy head scratch everyone talks about!) followed by more neck and shoulder massage with hot stones. At some point I definitely drifted off -- which tells you how relaxing it was -- but I remember cool stones placed on my face, more soothing massage, and the grand finale: my hair being washed and conditioned with the most refreshing scents. When the session ended, I sat up to cool, invigorating lotion on my back and shoulders before getting dressed. As if that wasn't enough, she led me downstairs and blow-dried my hair to finish everything off perfectly. Tracy explained that longer sessions include hand, arm, and foot massages... and now I'm already planning my next visit. This was the perfect introduction to head spas. If you've been curious like I was -- go. I'm officially hooked!
Tilly is the best! I'm a first time customer who came in with no expectations but I left very happy. Tilly was detailed and took great care of my hair. She was personable and kind and made my visit very pleasant. I would definitely recommend HL salon :)
