They had very good service, Marcela left my hair looking and feeling amazing. The vibe was chill and very easy to talk to.

Initially, I was uncomfortable thinking about leaving a review. But after giving it some thought, I didn't want anyone to have the same feeling as iIm deeply disappointed as a loyal customer of Marcela for 2-3 years. I came to this stylist with a reference photo showing soft, blended highlights throughout the hair. While the color she did was beautiful and I initially thanked her, after washing and styling my hair at home, I noticed the highlights were chunky, mostly concentrated at the top and sides, with no color toward the bottom or underneath. This made the result look unfinished, especially when I wore my hair up. I reached out kindly to express this, and asked if a few more blended highlights could be added to create a more complete and balanced look. Instead of being met with flexibility, I was told it would cost an additional $95 -- on top of the $260 l had already paid. I explained that I wasn't asking for a whole new look, just a small correction to better match the original vision. Unfortunately, the stylist ultimately chose to end the conversation and the professional relationship rather than work toward a solution. She initially stated it was talked about in the consultation which she explained what would be done, but she was also aware that the vision I wanted included FULL blended highlights. What I received was PARTIAL highlights with no lightened areas below my crown or around the bottom half of my head. I truly wish this had been handled differently. I appreciate the parts of the work such as the haircut but I left the experience feeling unheard and disappointed -- both in the final result and in how my feedback was received. It seems like she took the feedback in a personal matter, instead of professionally. I kindly asked for a partial refund as now I have to find another hairstylist to fix my hair, and was met with no response. I attached photos of my hair, the inspiration & the responses.

I went in for a keratin treatment with fabiloa. She did an amazing job, she was very attentive, she worked with my work schedule. I will definitely be returning ☺️

I purchased a Groupon that clearly stated it included a haircut, highlights, or color. The contact number for appointments was (424) 603-1916. I left a message, and when she called back, she started asking peculiar questions, seemingly to increase the price. She succeeded and texted me, saying I had to pay an additional $175 for "extra work" because I'm blonde and wanted my hair lighter towards the roots. She called me "illiterate in hair" because I didn't understand the difference between color and highlights. I was confused about why being blonde and wanting lighter roots required more work, especially since all three services were listed on the Groupon. It became clear to me that she was being greedy and using Groupon to lure in clients, then upselling them. She had issues with others before, which explains her strange phone call and attempts to manipulate the situation.

So happy to have met Fabiola. Not only is she so friendly and awesome to talk to, she's a talented hairdresser and I really enjoyed my appointment with her. Even before getting to the chair, over text I could sense her easy going nature. She was so understanding when I needed to reschedule and she just has a pleasant vibe that made me look forward to my appointment even more. She is very attentive to your hair needs and takes her time with you to ensure you are happy and getting exactly what you're looking for. We did a conditioning treatment that my hair so badly needed and the products she used were helpful because I noticed a difference immediately. She also shares tips for hair care and she knew I did not want to take off too much length and patiently ensured we did just that. I also loved how she blow dried my hair because my natural part is down the middle which I always change and she did a technique while blowdrying that allowed the hair to flip to either side and it created so much volume - loved that! I'm very happy with my haircut, my experience and the price. If you're getting a Groupon, her phone number is listed on it and you can coordinate with her directly. Fabiola was so fun to spend time with during my appointment, she'll make you feel comfortable and entertained. She has a great sense of humor and also ensures you are relaxed and feeling pampered. She's definitely in the right field of work. She worked in Beverly Hills before moving to this location and rents her chair from this salon. I highly recommend her for numerous reasons. You will not be disappointed.
