I had been calling around for a week trying to get a ceiling fan replaced. Asking for estimates, all I got from other places were variations on: "We can't give you an estimate until we get there and evaluate and we charge a $75 fee to come out." Could they give me a ballpark price? No, they said.So I had one of these scammers out. The technician hands me a form to sign, then immediately turns to me and says: "That will be $450.00."I told him to get the [expletive] out of my house. Seriously,he didn't look at the wiring or anything. They knew what they wanted to charge before they came out.Then I talked to Mike at West Coast Electric. I contacted West Coast Electric as I needed a 240v outlet installed in my garage for my EV charger. Mike was very friendly and came out and gave me an estimate and worked to fit in with my schedule. He was very thorough and was very neat in his work. Thanks Mike for helping me out.
An electrical outlet in my garage was occasionally sparking and power to the outlet was turning on and off. Called Mike and the next day he came out and fixed the problem. Mike is very courteous and shows you the old parts and work completed. We also spoke about future work in my home and he gave us advice to save us money. Will definitely call him in the future for any electrical issues.
