Costa Mesa, Ca. This place is really quite amazing, a family owned and operated business where the owners are actually there and working. It is a superbly well stocked electrical wholesale house, but they will sell to walk in home owners such as myself. There are dog treats behind the counter for the pups. The prices are very good, perhaps they can't always compete with Home Depot on copper products, bet everything else they can often do better than the Depot. They also have an excellent supply of motor control and commercial lighting products. The staff is very knowledgeable, and if one of the counter guys cannot assist you he will find someone who can. Getting custom wire cuts is easy and hassle free. This is not your typical electrical supply house that has one guy behind the counter and you have a long wait to get served. Hanks has several counter personnel and if the line gets long, someone will come to assist. I have been coming here since 1982 and have known 3 generations of owners, including the founder, Hank.
Great customer service...probably because there arent millennials working there. People actually greet you, understand how to be cordial. Customer service is a lost art but not here.
Paul is awesome. I found him through Reddit (he responded to a question I have on Reddit about Lutron RadioRA3), and through him I've sourced all the parts needed to upgrade my whole home's lighting control system. Great customer service and very reasonable price.
