My son was diagnosed with social anxiety and obsessive compulsive behavior since he was 17, which hindered him from doing lots of activities. We have been looking for therapy places until we discovered the Drake Institute, which was our best discovery in our journey to help our son. We had him treated at the Drake Institute since 2019 during certain periods. The treatment was very successful and made a big difference. He essentially stopped his obsessions and his repetitive behavior. His anxiety improved a lot, and he started exploring new experiences and became more independent. Dr Velkoff and his staff are incredible. We recommend this place to all our friends who have children struggling behaviorally, with anxiety, or with ADHD. The treatments actually work but the most important part of the treatment is the constant feedback. You are in constant communication about the results you are seeing from treatments and Dr Velkoff adjusts accordingly.

I don’t know if I have ever met a doctor who is more invested in a treatment outcome than Dr Velkoff. If you or a family, member has ADHD and is on the autism Spectrum, I highly recommend the Drake Institute. After years of therapy, medications and other modalities, with no results, I am so happy that we were able to find the Drake Institute. Although we live on the East Coast, this is one of the best investments that we could make for our daughter.. Their entire team , from the doctor on down to the office, staff and technicians, were caring, kind, and did everything in their power to make this the best experience.
