**Review of California Employment Counsel (Raymond & Nick Hane)** ⭐☆☆☆☆
I’m extremely disappointed in my experience with California Employment Counsel, particularly Raymond and Nick Hane. My case was settled over two months ago, and to this day, I have not received my portion of the settlement. What’s worse, I later discovered they had been filing paperwork behind my back—without my knowledge or approval.
I trusted this firm to represent me with integrity, but instead I felt left in the dark and misled. When I began asking questions about the status of my funds and the paperwork submitted on my behalf, I was met with silence, excuses, and confusion. It appeared that they were trying to take more than what was fair—something no client should ever have to worry about with their legal representation.
I have since taken action to represent myself and have removed them from my case entirely. I would strongly caution anyone considering this firm to proceed with extreme care, keep records of everything, and never assume that your best interest is being protected.
This is my honest account of what happened, and I’m sharing it so others don’t go through the same thing.

recognize why you might feel disappointed here, but please know that these conflict issues occur very frequently and this is not something we can control here. If there is a conflict issue with our prior representation of one of the same clients, we are required to step down and inform the client to find a substitute law firm. This is never personal and does not affect the potential outcome of your case. Most importantly, your case is in the very initial phases and can easily be taken over by another law firm.
Carly has provided you with all of the documents in your file, which again are only the basic documents required to evaluate your case. However, once again, the conflict issue prohibits us from moving forward here, but any other law firm can take over from here.
Best of luck to you. Worst lawyers ever in my life experience the worst with this law firm no communication at all but until January 6 they deserve 1 star 🌟
