Tesla refuse to move forward without a SCE bill for the new house that I barely moved in. I have solar since 2007 on every house I own, so I know exactly what I want. All other companies wanted to show me the savings and tell me what I need. I decided to give Sunlux a shot based on Perplexity’s recommendation.
Talked to owner Mike, a nice, friendly guy the same day afternoon. Got my system how I wanted at a very reasonable price. Hopefully Sunlux can deliver a smooth install, since Mike said they use in-house installer, which is what I love to hear based on my previous experience with contracted out failing projects miserably. I am happy with the solar system I got through Sunlux. In October of 2025, I realized that the IRS solar credits were set to expire early at the end of the year due to the spending bill congress passed in July. I contacted 4 solar companies, and 3 said they could get the job done in time. Sunlux had the lowest price by $9,000 - $30,000. I liked that Mike Valencia is an owner, so I knew I was not working with a salesperson who might not be with me throughout the process. I purchased a 16 panel, 7.36KW, 2 Powerwall 3 system. From the get go Mike was very professional and upfront with his presentation I felt 100% comfortable the whole session and on top of that he is very Knowledgeable with Solar. I can highly recommend him and Sunrun.
