We have been with Sensei Geoff at Mires Martial Arts for over 5 (Happy) years. Geoff was always outstanding with us and all the families we interacted with. He was always accommodating to our needs and schedules. His positive attitude with all the kids is something I have witnessed and know the kids will learn from. The atmosphere is so much fun that my kids are always happy to be there and truly enjoy learning their katas and sparring while having so much fun, a successful combo of learning and enjoying the experience. If you or your kids are contemplating a martial arts dojo, I would highly recommend Mires Martial Arts dojo.

My kiddo has been at Mire’s Martial Arts for 2.5 years now with the hope of years to come. We are beyond grateful to be part of such a great community/family. We could not ask for a better Sensei who shows a ridiculous amount of patience… teaches respect, focus, kindness, confidence, how to defend yourself (obviously), that sometimes it’s ok to just be silly and have fun… and treats every child as if they’re family. If you’re looking for an extracurricular activity for your child and they’ve shown interest in martial arts, I highly recommend this dojo. We've been having a great experience with Sensei Geoff and the dojo! A few months in and my son is progressing fast through his stripes. Sensei Geoff is great with the kids, creating a fun and approachable atmosphere while balancing the discipline of karate.
My son (9yo) has quickly made friends and enjoys going to class everyday, eager to make progress on his belts. When we were considering dojos, we sat in on a few classes around town. Five minutes into observing Sensei Geoff's class, my son turns to me and says "this is the one".
