I started treatment at A Step Forward this past May.I felt an immediate comfort being there, from the welcoming by Diana in the front office, to my primary therapist Caprice Haverty MD.Since working with Caprice, she has enlightened my struggling life, and treats me with care and concern, but moreso, has been recently helping acquire special services with Kaiser Permanente by speaking to certain doctor's on my behalf about needing a 'medically necessary' medication, all the while, while she has been on vacation! Make sure you set up an appointment for this place. I went to these guys to do child reunification and unfortunately one of the therapists don't seem to take her job very seriously for she's really bad about giving me a call back. She always does but he usually takes her over a week and a half sometimes too. I do however believe that the therapist here really do desire to help a Man's family. I just wish they were more efficient.
