Very good experience today at EveQ.. A little longer wait that usual, but satisfactory. They skipped the regular procedure of the gals doing eye exams prior to seeing Dr., but Dr. always does it too and I think I prefer it that way. Excellent help with optical at their station; I got a very helpful and informative attendant.. Thanks...
A friend recommended me here since my old OD was booked til January- I needed an appointment last August for a routine check and contact lens fitting. In here, they were able to get me an appt in one week, so I went for it. Though I don't know why it took so long but upon my appt time I waited about 1 hr and 20 mins before I saw the Dr. Her execution was fast but was explaining everything a bit too quick for my liking. Decent providers here I'm sure. Only reason why I wouldn't come back is because of my insurance and the long wait. I should've done more research, I have VSP and for me they don't cover as much with Eye Q. For context, the contact lens fitting fee was $200 and had a specialty fee of $30 which brought my total to $230 but insurance only covered $60 so I paid $170 upfront. Not sure if that price for contact lens fitting is the norm. A couple weeks later they mailed me a detailed statement for a $10 bill to pay for Eye exam New patient which was $200, and under it said Insurance receipt -$63.00 and Adjust was -$127, that's how l ended up having to pay another 'small' but still a fee of $10. They also charged for Refraction $50 but thank goodness insurance covered all. Called customer service to make sure this was a one time charge because they sent me the exact same mail two weeks later. Being basically blind and a growing adult is expensive lol
First time at the Clovis location. Hiked to the building after parking way before I should have, then hiked around the building looking for the door. But that's cool, I'll log the activity for the day as exercise! Here for a follow-up appointment after being referred to Eye-Q in Fresno after my annual exam. There's something going on the doctor wants to keep an eye on. First time here and looking for Eye-Q? The building is past 121 and 129. The doors are to the back side of the building (east) where there is a parking lot, too. For Dr Adams, it's not the FIRST suite 101, keep walking, it's the SECOND suite 101. When I checked in, I found my doctor was going to be at this location ongoing. Glad I found him, Dr Adams is awesome! Very thorough, caring and professional.
