The shop has a ton of interesting instruments of all types, and the staff is super friendly and laid-back, always eager to have fun with the customers. Prices are fair, and the store has a nice mom-and-pop vibe. Customers can find rare instruments, decorative art, and even receive ukulele lessons or guidance on accommodating hand injuries as an amateur guitarist.
A true gem. Fairly priced, incredible selection of diverse acoustic instruments from all over the world, and the owner and the staff are all so warm and friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place more, it’s like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory for musicians.
One of the most unique music stores in LA county. Phenomenal selection of instruments from around the world. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They allowed me to play their dulcimers despite having no real ability to play them.
This was a spectacular stop. It was an innocent stroll down the street and a glance at the store front windows, and then I was in another world. You could not plan for what you’re going to see inside of the. And the people attending to everything were equally as compelling as the product line on the walls and in the shelves. I will definitely be returning to the shop when I visit Claremont in the future.
