I started taking classes at Claremont Yoga in February of this year. Everyone has been kind and supportive. I usually take Jenna and Gwen's classes, which I love. Monica is also great. It's a welcoming environment and feels safe.

I dropped in for a session on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30. I've never done yoga but have been interested in participating in a session for probably close to a year. I've looked around at other studios over those several months--within Claremont and surrounding cities-- and felt drawn to go for it at Claremont Yoga. The staff were welcoming and helped me get checked in with ease. There was a "first time student" deal rate for the class. They offered an unlimited two week pass for a great price, however I wasn't able to afford it at the time. Definitely seemed well worth it. (If you're curious about their rates/first timer promos, check out their website or pop in before a class to speak with staff.) I opted to pay for a single session and I was able to rent a mat for a super reasonable additional fee. Class began promptly and was not overcrowded. It was a "gentle yoga" session and I found it easy to follow along with no prior yoga experience. It was certainly challenging and at various points through the session, I found my body to be challenged and I value the fact that something so relaxing could also be physically demanding at the same time. The studio was very clean and open, and well-lit with beautiful light from plenty of windows. All in all, it was a great first time experience. I took a calendar (which is also available on their website) and I definitely plan to return for sessions with CY in the future as I am able to. Whether If you're a seasoned practitioner or a beginner with zero experience like myself, I highly recommend you pop in and give Claremont Yoga a try.

The owner Tracy is very experienced to host a studio for years. All the instructors are full of passion. All classes are nice, mindful and spiritual. Here are the nicest instructors I ever took classes. Sonia, Monica, Patty, Joanna, Abigail, Jenna,Tamar, Elizabeth, Bess, Dolores, Sarah,Michelle, Marcella, Diane and more... Classes are from early morning to evening daily.Studio also offers live stream online classes which is a great addition. There is no front desk receptionist. So if no class, the door is closed. You just show up by the website schedule for the first time. Studio provides lots of accessories including yoga mat for practicing. So just come.
