“Deeply immersive, wellness center” is accurate. Each sauna room is an experience, the ice room awesome especially during a heatwave, staff amazing (including the chef!!!), cleanliness at facility A+. My friend comes here weekly or biweekly. You will get addicted to ohm and extreme relaxation.

Great spa and a relaxing experience! The bathing area and common areas are nice. Food options are great too! I do wish the hot water would be hotter and the ice room could be colder but it didn't impact my experience. Overall, I'd recommend this place!

My new favorite spa! They offer great spaces to relax. It’s clean and quiet. They have delicious food and wonderful technicians and services. Can’t wait to go back

I really like the amenities at Spa Hyu, especially the bath products that are imported from Korea. My only complaint is that the cold pool is too cold . Other than that I really enjoy it here!

I came here looking for a Korean spa that was closer than iSpa in Irvine or WiSpa in Ktown and I was not disappointed.
Restaurant: the food/sides were really good and the lady who works it deserves her own 5 stars. She was very welcoming and warm. If I had to describe her vibe I would say it's like a friend's sweet mom who loves having people over becausing feeding people is her love language.
Nude area: it was smaller compared to other k spas I've been too but that resulted in a more relaxing environment. The dry and wet sauna looked modern but still had that k spa charm. The hot/warm/cold tubs were all very clean and relaxing. And I loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash that they supplied. The locker room also had a vitamin c toner (felt great) and hair serum along with body and face lotion. The Dyson hairdryers were also a great surprise. For once I didn't leave a k spa with my curly hair looking like a cotton ball haha.
Coed area: this area was very roomy and had a lot of great hot/cold rooms. I loved that the charcoal room was semicold. Most places only have 1 cold room so it was a welcomed change. Me and my friend almost missed the services we booked because time just flew by.
Services: I got the aromatherapy oil deep tissue massage with infrared light therapy. First, GET HELEN. There was a minor language barrier, but she is AMAZING and if she doesn't understand something there is always google translate lol. Helen found knots I didn't even know I had. It's hard to put into words how great she was but I went in with sore muscles (I play rugby and recently went up in weight while working out) and came out feeling refreshed. I only wish I had more cash to tip her with. I'm so glad the owner convinced me to go with Helen when I checked in.
Misc: I love that they sell Korean sheet masks at the front desk and in the restaurant. The entrance and front desk are very nice. The owner was also really nice. I don't get the reviews saying she wasn't. She gave an assertive Asian mom vibe, but she never felt mean or aggressive. She also checked in with me after my massage to make sure I was happy with her recommendation.
Tl;dr overall it's a great place to go to when looking to relax. While not as big as other places, the quality and charm are both there. The staff was also very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this place to friends.

It’s been a while since I visited such a well-kept jjimjilbang. I came a few weeks ago and had such a relaxing experience. The front desk and kitchen staff were exceptionally kind, and the cleanliness of the facility stood out. I attribute this to the fact that it isn’t open 24/7, allowing time for thorough cleaning and resetting. My boyfriend also enjoyed it immensely; after a 7-hour drive, we left feeling completely relaxed. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in SoCal!

Also, don’t underestimate the portion sizes! We ordered 3 dishes expecting small servings, but we were served much more food than we expected.

Their manager Julie doesn't belong in spa business. She’s very unprofessional. She was barking at her staff and customers and her attitude and demeanor are best suited to be a correctional officer and not manager in a wellness spa.
