TLC Optometry, located inside the Costco in Citrus Heights, provides top-notch service and thorough eye exams. The optometrists are fantastic and excellent at managing challenging conditions like difficult astigmatisms, using great exam equipment. The entire staff, from the optometrist's assistant to those helping with orders and fittings, is lovely and provides quick, great service. They offer great products, including glasses and contacts. Patients report confidence in accurate prescriptions, even for progressive lenses, and note the care is thorough, discussing all concerns and medical history. The practice has even caught serious conditions, safeguarding vision. It is a highly recommended place for all vision needs.
I’ve been going here for about three years now and Dr. Concepcion is so sweet and her office staff is consistent and super nice as well. You get in and out fast but I never feel like I’m being rushed out, she answers all my questions and seems to really care and she also has caught really small changes in my vision that could potentially be causing issues for me. I also don’t feel like I’m being robbed (self pay) they’re super transparent about pricing and it is very reasonable.
Dr Kim is great! She was very fast, but very thorough and got my prescription just right. At the end of the exam she showed how I'm seeing with my current prescription and how I'll be seeing when I get my new glasses. Highly recommend.
I've been going to TLC for almost 15 years, and can't say enough good things about them. I've seen both Dr Concepcion and Dr Kim, and they are both fantastic. I have a very heavy astigmatism in one eye on a weird angle (Dr Kim said it's a 1/1000 case) and they do an excellent job of helping me manage it and get glasses that will work the best they can (I tried switching to a well established doctor closer to home once, and it was a disaster). They also did some routine imagining on my wife's eyes and caught a condition that if left untreated, she could have gone blind. So they saved her vision that day.
