San Diego Photography Classes offers a "No More Auto" workshop led by Hector. The workshop is comprehensive, covering camera basics, settings, and modes in a clear and understandable way. Hector is an outstanding teacher who breaks down complex information into manageable segments with exercises. He is dedicated to ensuring students fully grasp the concepts. His class is well structured and he works closely with all students. Students report feeling more confident with their cameras and appreciate the hands on instruction. Students leave feeling more comfortable and equipped to take great photos, with many shooting in manual mode after the workshop. The workshop is highly recommended for beginners and anyone looking to improve their photography skills.
What a great class! Hector is a experienced photographer, a truly amazing instructor! I have always been interested in photography and now with two little young ones I just want to capture all those special moments. I have spent countless hours on you tube but I felt I just wasn’t learning. I was stuck on auto mode… I stumbled upon Hector’s classes and saw the best reviews. Let me tell you that if you are looking to get out of auto mode on your camera in one day, DO IT! Take his class and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I really enjoyed the one on one instruction, it’s what I needed to really learn how to understand my camera. I’m looking forward to use all this new knowledge and taking some incredible photos!
I took this class yesterday and WOW!!! Hector was amazing! He took the time to explain to the features and the benefits. We all had different cameras and lenses, he knew the features on them and where to find them on each of our cameras. Explained the differences. He showed us some poses to use to create a story. He really is passionate about teaching. I would take more of his workshops for sure!! If you want to learn in a positive environment you have to take this workshop!
Hector is an incredibly thoughtful, creative and patient teacher. He truly cares about every single student in his class. We were a group of 6 with different types and brands of cameras, he took the time with each one of us to make sure we were comfortable and familiar with our cameras. I received my camera 4 years ago and was so intimidated by it, it just sat there. I bought books and watched so many YouTube videos and I just couldn't figure out. Thanks to Hector I'm so excited to use my camera I've been takeing it everywhere. I recommend this class 100%!!!!
