About Otay Ranch Town Center
Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista, located minutes from downtown San Diego, is a pedestrian-friendly, open-air shopping destination. The center boasts over 90 specialty stores, including popular retailers and boutique shops, providing a wide range of choices to cater to every taste and style. There is a small food court with seating and charging stations, as well as several well-known restaurants surrounding the town center, such as The Cheesecake Factory, Chili's, Panera, PF Chang's, and a new Italian restaurant, Garbatella. The mall offers many amenities, including an AMC theater, Macy's, and Sephora. Additionally, there is a large parking area and the mall is known to be pet-friendly with a park available. The farmers market is held every Tuesday, starting at 4pm. Overall, Otay Ranch Town Center provides a fantastic shopping experience with a variety of dining options, entertainment experiences, and a modern and inviting atmosphere. However, it is worth noting that the service at some restaurants, such as Chili's, may not be the best. Despite this, it is still a great place to spend the day with family or friends.
There's many shops here in this square—so there's something for everyone. Parking is plenty, but usually full so sometimes finding parking can be a minute or two.
You can park at one spot, and walk the square too your different shops. There's a lot of foot traffic around here, so I'm guessing that's what people are doing.

Absolutely delicious! The house red wine is highly recommended. The calamari rings and their sauce have an unbeatable crunch. I tried other dishes; the food was truly spectacular.
I love hanging out at the Otay Ranch Town Center, but I’m writing this as a safety warning regarding the surge of e-bikes in the area. Between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the e-bike traffic becomes quite heavy and often reckless, both here and down at the Eastlake food court areas.
To keep pedestrians and shoppers safe, it would be great to see an increased presence of Park Rangers or local security patrolling these specific spots during the afternoon rush. It’s a great community, and we want to keep it safe for everyone on foot!
