If I weren't relocating, this would unquestionably be my permanent training destination. I can't say enough about this jiu-jitsu academy that emphasizes MMA for self-defense. The training here equips you with vital skills for real-world scenarios. However, to solely focus on the martial arts aspect would be an injustice to Professor Elias's mentoring. I signed my daughters up for jiu-jitsu because they were being bullied and O.M.G...not only are they learning self defense, but they both have sooo much more confidence and they've made some amazing friends here. my once quiet and timid 11 year old is now on her 3rd stripe and just competed in a tournament over the weekend. my 9 year old is smaller than other kids her age and she let other kids bully her for it. but now she actually sticks up for herself. she doesn't let her size stop her from being heard/seen anymore. and the professor/coaches treat every single child like their own. my only regret is that I didn't sign them up sooner.
