If you are interested in an inexpensive fast good regular hair cut Dave is GREAT! Just be aware he has strong political opinions so I would avoid trying to disagree with them. Just sit back and enjoy a great fast regular hair cut and understand everybody has their own opinions and this is his show. My go to place even though my politics the exact opposite!

Went here as a kid and got to meet Hank and Paul back in the day. This is a really classy place and they treated me really good. I got my hair cut today and got reaquainted with an old friend. Best service and haircut and as an adult, now, it takes me back. Keep up the excellent Job, Dave.

I have been going to get my haircut from Dave's family since it was Hank and Paul's barbershop. My family has followed them from their original shop in Chula Vista Mall (building isn't even there anymore) to East J Street to 3rd Aveneue to where Dave is on Broadway now. Dave even went to my parents house when they were caring for my elderly uncle to cut his hair on Daves day off until my uncle passed away. Dave just runs a simple shop that is not noisy and where you can get a good cut, fair price and good conversation. Nothing "shady" here.
