The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing a routine to do on your own time and performing deep tissue massage.
Excellent physical therapists at Valponi and Wagner. I’ve had pain for many years and have been to a plethora of physical therapists over the years, including many in the Bay Area. I haven’t been to one as good as Jeff Wagner. I suffer from spondylolisthesis due to congenital spondylolysis, I’ve got 49° S curve scoliosis (and a car accident decades ago doesn’t help) and degenerative disc, diagnosed in my 20’s. As a result, I suffer from chronic neck discomfort and low back pain and I know the drill! :-) Heat, massage and exercises to keep the pain at bay. That being said, regular visits to a good PT (as well as an acupuncturist and a chiropractor) will ensure the best care for one’s back or neck, but finding a *great* PT really makes a difference! Jeff Wagner has changed my life, no exaggeration. He really knows what he’s doing. FYI Apparently he’s a hand specialist (I had to find out from another therapist there, as Jeff is modest) so if anyone needs hand therapy, he’s the guy. Great staff overall at Valponi and Wagner. My mom sees David Valponi and says he’s awesome. From your first visit at the front desk with Lyndsey to your sessions in the back after your heat treatment, massage, ultra sound with John (who’s leaving soon, bye John! 👋) and other great PTA’s, to your exercises in the back (and sometimes TENS unit, depending on the injury) with Valponi, Wagner and the gang, the care and attention you are given are exceptional!!
