I would have given them a 5 star review if not for two disappointments given at the bottom. I went with Chico Solar Works because they could also replace the roof (Chico Roofing Company) and I was willing to pay a premium to have a single company to deal with if anything went wrong. Also, they have been around for quite a while, I knew a few people who had used them for solar and their prices weren't out of the ballpark. Once the installation began it went quickly and smoothly, taking only a couple of days for installation and PG&E approved the installation within a few days. Note that they also had to upgrade our breaker box to 200A and they did a great job... read full review

I had Chico Roofing Co. and Chico Solar Works install a new roof and solar system on my house. Overall, from project proposal to finished product my experience was very satisfying. Workers were professional, and communication around scheduling work was timely. Overall a very easy and worthwhile experience.
