Harold has done my taxes for the past 3 years. He has done a great job with all the complexities I have had. I had taxes for both Oregon and California States for 2 years. He is very knowledgeable of Oregon State Tax Law as well and of course of California. I look forward to meeting with him again for my 2021 taxes.

Helped both me and my girlfriend out when we both had issues with our taxes. Was very quick which was great as we needed our taxes for financial aid for school. Also helped us get a larger refund in the process

As I recollect we "inherited" John when the owner of Chico Tax Service sold his business. I've lost count of the many years we've been with Harold. We've found him to be straightforward. He helped save us huge $$$ when it came to my husbands retirement decisions in the early 1990's and again years later when we unexpectedly received pay off monies to a house loan we were carrying. He did go through a couple recent years where we waited and waited to pick up our taxes, but I think there were sufficient complaints from long standing clients that Harold revamped his methodology and we've since been getting finished returns sent off electronically within a matter of days...read full review
