I have been here on several occasions with sick animals and I have always left disappointed and extremely unsatisfied with the care my pets received. But this past week I was in with my very sick girl and ended up having to put her down which was a shock I did not go in thinking I would leave with out her. The Dr I had was wonderful Dr Masonek - very thoughtful and made me feel like a long time patient of hers. She made my family feel at peace with our decision. And the assistant who helped me was just the most compassionate and kind young lady, Faith. Animals seem to need a vet on holidays and on weekends after most vets close. Guess thats ranch living. Vets and staff were very fair and professional. We have a cattle dog who enjoys visiting and now a new cat. They like holiday and after hour visits with staff. Have leave 5 stars after the cats recent tour of pain crys. Thank you all for being so kind. It makes the next emergency visit a pleasure. Really do appreciate this as was expecting a bill in a rediculas price range. This we hope will balance out any troll or cheap review left to discern these animal loving people. Thank you.

Our kitty had what looked like (to us) a swollen broken paw/arm. It started oozing a pinkish fluid and we panicked and took him to valley oak as it is the only emergency vet in town. We were expecting to not be treated very well and to be blown off as they were so busy. Instead, a vet tech (Emily B) took the time to take us back in a room and assess our cat to see whether or not he needed emergency care. She determined it was just an abscess that had came to a head. She took the time to express the fluid and put some cleaning solution on it. She told us this was not an emergency and to wait for an appt with our regular vet to save us (majorly) in expenses.
