I have only availed myself of hair appointments and have been very pleased with the results. The only discomfort I have experienced is the noise level in the salon. Wearing a mask as well as hearing aids with piped in music and other conversations also going on, it is almost impossible to converse....not exactly the relaxing “me” day I would wish for. It won’t make me stop coming to see Danyell...she accommodates my daughter and me in our appointments together and treats us very well....and we love her work!

The precision cut Rich does on my hair is by far the best I've had in 20 years. My husband and I move frequently due to his career and after living in the area since 2014 and trying a multitude of salons, Rich nailed it. My hair is fine but there is a lot of it and to top it off, it's quite curly, kinky, wavy and unruly. The salons / stylists I tried prior to finding Genesis did cuts that were so-so and I resigned myself to the fact that I would never receive a satisfactory cut and that I will forever wear my hair in a pony tail, a chignon or hidden under a hat. Basic friendly professional hair salon on the Esplanade next door to Nash's. My first time there, got a basic men's wash n haircut. There were 3 or 4 other stylists all busy with clients.
