We decided to get three solar estimates for our home. The first I called requested me to get on my computer and showed me computer generated panels on my roof. They then asked for my social security number for insurance reasons if I wanted them to send a person out to our home. Very shady and pushy. The next company sent out a nice salesman who was somewhat knowledgeable, but their price ended up being very high. Our final estimate was with California Builders. David Cline was prompt on his arrival and extremely knowledgeable in helping us design our solar project. He was the only one to actually climb up on our roof and measure things out. Dave Cline at California Builders did an amazing job for me with my residential solar panel project. He’s was very professional, and he handled the entire project for me, including obtaining my building permits. He insisted on doing all the research beforehand, to insure that I had enough solar exposure to adequately run my system. He wanted to make sure that the system he designed was one that I’d be happy with. His communication was great and his professional installation crew had my system installed and operating in one day. I was lucky to find California Builders, Chico after first tangling with a solar shyster that had good reviews.
It’s a rare company that seems to care about the customer, as businesses use to be. And the owner, David Cline, always did what he said he would do in a timely fashion.
Communications was excellent. He takes the weekends off, which I can’t fault.
The panels, battery and compiler are top of the line.
