About Providence Speech and Hearing Center

Providence Speech and Hearing Center provides speech and occupational therapy services. Parents praise the therapy provided at the Cerritos and Huntington Beach locations. At the Cerritos office, Audiologist Eddie Guzman is highlighted for his friendly and welcoming demeanor, making the hearing test experience easy for children. In Huntington Beach, Monica and speech therapist Channdoni are commended for their kindness. The center utilizes a collaborative approach to treatment, with therapists communicating regularly with parents and tailoring plans to individual needs. Parents appreciate the therapists' passion and the positive impact they have on their children's development. Occupational therapy sessions at the center involve initial assessments and treatment plans. The facility prioritizes safety measures like hand hygiene and has cameras in the therapy rooms. While the center receives positive feedback for its therapy services and some staff members, there are concerns regarding the Orange office. Parents report negative experiences with staff friendliness and appointment accuracy. They also mention a concerning incident during an occupational therapy session where a child sustained a head injury. Despite these concerns, Providence Speech and Hearing Center remains a recommended resource for families seeking speech and occupational therapy for their children.

Today, my daughter was able to get her certificate of completion for speech and language. I would like to thank Kym Ashara for her tremendous amount of help. Kym demonstrates invaluable amount of effort and true kindness along with patience, when working with all the other kids, including mine. There was not one day, nor one minute where she took any shortcuts just to get these classes done, she truly cares, no doubt. My wife and I, as parents, appreciate this Help and everyone in my family notices my daughter speaking a lot more clearly and detailed. The staff was always kind and always gave me direction. Thank you very much for helping my daughter with her speech ! Highly recommend!

I am grateful that I didn't let reviews influence my decision when choosing this facility. Over the past 6 months, my 5-year-old autistic son has been undergoing speech therapy twice a week, and for the last 3 months, he has been participating in occupational therapy once a week. Witnessing significant growth and development in him, we have observed an overall positive response to the therapy sessions.Speech Therapy SessionsOur son works with two wonderful therapists who consistently communicate with us before or after each session. Their seamless collaboration ensures the best treatment plan. They make sessions enjoyable, contributing significantly to his language development....read full review

Extremely unorganized staff. The speech therapists here are not the issue, especially Ms. Le eta she's amazing. But the finance department and scheduling department are a MESS. First day there 10 minutes out of my daughter's 25 minute appointment got interrupted because they double booked. Now that my daughter has been in therapy for almost two months, finance/insurance department tell me they Never received authorization from insurance for her to be there. How they allowed her to be there for almost two months makes NO SENSE. They asked me to do their job and contact her doctors office because they called ONCE and didn't get an answer. Now im playing telephone between...read full review
