I got my haircut and colored by Laura today and it's quite possibly the best cut and color I've ever had. My angled bob is perfect and has a lot of movement. She also convinced me to get babylights to blend with my greys instead of attempting to cover them with an all-over color that would eventually grow out with a clear line of demarkation. She was right! The highlights are perfect in blending my greys so that you don't even see them. Laura is a delight and the entire vibe in the salon is lively and joyous. Can't recommend enough!
I had a bad curly hair cut experience at another salon a few months ago in Castro Valley (Nancy’s Hair Design) and did some research and found Melenas &Manes, which is also located in Castro Valley. Laura, the manager and Laudi did an amazing job of reshaping my hair and styling my curls.The manager did a dry curl cut and took her time and explained her technique to me. Laudi also did my color root touch up and it came out great a week before. I recommend this shop where you are welcomed and treated like you are special. The coffee and pan Dulce are delicious too.
Lili está muy vacano! ✨??☺️ Yes I recommend this salon - I had my hair cut for the first time in a year by Lili and I was so nervous but she listened to my concerns and also taught me a few tips about caring for my hair. She cut, washed and blew dried my hair for $80 and wow my hair looked amazing! Especially compared to how it looked when I arrived. Truly I'm so grateful I found this place. It felt like a great price for what I got. They also let me bring my own shampoo and conditioner. I'll be back!
