John was very helpful and thorough in figuring out a match to some old hardwood flooring I needed replacement boards for. I would definitely shop at Castro Valley Lumber again in the future.

Yes I'm sure it's difficult with the coronavirus Chantel, however when I called and ask about obtaining some wood I was met with less than stellar customer service. The gentleman on the phone Syren I would need to make an appointment, that there was a big order coming in today and they would take precedence over anything that I wanted, I think him for his time and decided not to shop there. Even though I will be needing lumber to build a studio apartment I will not shop At a store it does not value all of their customer regardless of size

These guys are awesome! And I'd much rather support a solid local business than default to big box places that can't actually help you with questions and needs. I came in with a specific need and they had me settled within 15 minutes. I might not be their usual customer but they were extremely helpful.
