Beautiful course in great condition at a great price. There are A LOT of trees which provides a nice challenge and lots of shade. If golfers would fix their pivots on the green it would be even better. So if you're reading this FIX YOUR DIVOTS!
Torrey Pines golf course designer William Bell designed Ancil Hoffman. Long, difficult yet fair golf course, Ancil Hoffman can add 3-5 shots compared to other courses and if you can master this course, you can play well anywhere. Nestled along fertile soul from the American River, you will be amazed at all the beautiful mature trees. Enjoy the wildlife while this mind psyop of a layout brings you to your knees.
The crowd here is definitely not upper class country club and play can be slow as profit squeezes tee off groups every 8 minutes. The course seems to always be booked and being difficult adds to slow play. Beginners should stay clear from this course.... read full review
Great place for golf with convenient parking and excellent service. Staff is friendly, everything is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely worth coming back again!
