My 88 year old friend needed a new beautician after her hairdresser moved away. She's an old fashion tease your hair kind of gal who also needs a perm three times a year. Most salons refrain from doing perms and teasing. However La Coiffure was recommended in honor and honestly we couldn't be happier! Tiny shop Full of a warm atmosphere lots of Natural light. There are three beauticians Greg, Jim, and Joelle. Everyone has worked On her hair and she looks fabulous. I feel like we've been there forever. She is treated with such kindness. I Highly recommend La Coiffure.

Joelle is an artist! What she did with my layered, short hair is incredible! Between her hair artistry and Melissa's professional makeup, I felt pampered and beautiful for my anniversary. Besides being masters at their craft, everyone at La Coiffure was warm, personable, and caring. Joelle even fit in my husband at the last minute so that he felt pampered too! Every time we return to Carmel, we will be sure to visit La Coiffure!!

Joelle was so great! The salon is cute, easy to find and its location in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea is ideal. I couldn’t be happier with what Joelle did with my hair—a beautiful blowout.
