Dr was nice and helpful but their front desk staff is horrible. You have to do all the footwork and basically do their job for them. They are rude and not helpful in the slightest. Do not recommend.
Finally scheduled an appt with a new practitioner to go over MRI results when they finally answered the phone and after they had called me to tell me the doc no longer worked there an hour before my appointment. Welp, once again they called me an hour before my telehealth appt to tell me I needed to go there in person since it had been over 6 months. Information I would have needed sooner than an hour before my appt. Now the office is no longer in Carlsbad but is in downtown San Diego and they are closed on Fridays? Apparently I'm never going to see these MRI results. On my first visit they tried to push opioids on me even though I kept telling them I didn't want them.
From an authorization dated January 2023... In my experience, in March of 2023 my appt. with "Dr" Richardson firstly, was cancelled w/o office notification. Only by happenstance did I discover and take a MOST inconvenient 'crack of dawn' late April visit in ghettoland Midway. Now, the experience...a most rediculous intake form, facing page listing regulatory agencys you will inevitably seek out, followed by the declaritive that Opioids cannot be prescribed if you are on virtually anything other than other Opioids (?). We've all seen the usual diagrams about where hurting ? Next a urine sample. No go for me. Richardson comes in the exam room after no BP, Temp. PulseOx and after already examined my paltry radiology, declares " you're just getting old, weightlifters/warfighters share the same, a back brace may help." Opioids ? I ask, having last taken them 3 months prior. "Oh, I don't prescribe, talk to your PCP" A lie, the urine sample cup is in my pocket. My response..."Then I guess you won't need the drug screen cup in my pocket ?" His eyes widen and replies, "No". He should have stayed in Compton and made Hip-Hop trax. The Midway office is a "Dog and Pony Show". Run for your life.
