I have a 66 Mustang shipped from Minnesota. I brought it it a classic car Mechanic in Canoga Park and performed safety upgrades including a new double barrel Holley carburetor.
The car sounded and ran like a wild black stallion. However, once it got hot, it would stall. I brought i back and had the mechanic test drive it since it was under warranty. The car stalled on him. He adjusted the idle to no avail. He said it might need new points and distributor. He said about $1,400. I had already spent over $6k with a new carburetor.
I decided to sell the clunker. One guy test drove it and said I might need a throttle plate adjustment.... read full review

I called Canoga Carburetor Wednesday evening and he told me to bring it in first thing Thursday morning. I took my 1986 Monte Carlo in and as soon as I got there he opened up the hood and got to diagnosing the problem. He said my carburetor needs to be rebuilt and I said, let's do it. He said it'll be ready Friday and I couldn't believe how quick he'd have it done. This morning I received a voicemail and he said, Hey Miguel your car is ready and I was excited. He did an awesome job and I couldn't believe how smooth my car turned on and ran as I left his shop. I took it to get smogged right after and it passed so I'm more than satisfied with... read full review

I had my 79 chev 4x4 truck tow to him,it would not start,it has not run for 1and 1/2 years, then he call in a mobil mechenic they dianosed it to be a bad fuel pump,Well $500. later he change the fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel line, And then i needed the carb rebuilt,another $600 I pick up my truck this morning it was running like it never ran before.THIS GUY IS A GOD,i spent a total of $1200.and i am very happy with him,I can only give him 5 stars,if i could give him 10 i would,he keep in touch with me every step of the way and even sent me pic ,thank you so much, a honest man
