It used to be great but lately is lacking badly in the equipment maintenance department. Equipment is falling apart, locker rooms look sad. Hard to find a good gym but I'm looking for options

First time joining a training facility like Athletic Society Gym and I have to say, what an experience it has been! From the work outs, to the amazing trainers! Always have been a shy person when it comes to working out with other people but the vibes from Athletic Society Gym in the West Valley are just something else! I've been going here for a year (previously LA Fitness Conoga). The place is huge - if you're serious about fitness this is the place to go. Occasionally equipment is broken but there is so much choice it doesn't bother me. It's like a commercial gym but with more real equipment for weightlifters and much bigger! The General Manager ("Tee") is such a nice friendly guy and cares about the workout ability of the gym himself. I love being a member here. Its a 'go in, get the job done' kind of gym which everyone loves when they care about the gym lifestyle.
