Have gone here twice for sciatic nerve pain as well as an Achilles tendon injury. This is a very no-frills office. Dr. Mei took me the same day and charges $50 (cash or check only). She had me fill out a medical history form and we went over what hurt, how long I've been experiencing pain, and assessed the severity of the pain. In the room she inserted needles all over my lower back, hip, legs, and heel / achilles and then hooked them up to a pulsating machine to stimulate endorphines / circulation. Low key spot. Walked in asked if I needed an appointment Dr Mei said yes but she could take me at that very same moment if I was up for it. She had me fill out a general health form( what hurts where since when...) I explained I was Refered by my aunt who had visited the place prior and received acupuncture and enjoyed the results. She went over the general health form thoroughly and wanted to know what hurt. I had a pinched nerve and she said that this is definitely something acupuncture could help fix with proper treatment as in not on the first shot.
