I had contacted Mr. Rosenelli after doing a series of transplants that totaled about 10,000 graphs 10 years ago. Unfortunately the graphs that were done years ago by another doctor had areas in which original hair did not need to be transplanted. After 20 years some areas in the front of my scalp became very thin and it did not look like it did 20 years ago. I knew most of my donor area had already been taken and I consulted Dr. Rosenelli to see if he might be able to improve the front hairline. He offered a realistic solution but also inform me that there was some limitations with the amount of donor area that I had left. I decided based on his honesty and expertise that I would go with a procedure about two weeks later. The waiting period for the graphs to grow in can be very frustrating and after about 14 months I am pleased to say that Dr. Rosenelli did a great job and satisfied beyond my expectations the work that he did for me. dr. Rosenelli has been doing this for a long time and that's one of the reasons why I chose him. His staff is great and I'm so happy that he was able to do the beautiful work on my hairline. Anyone looking to do a procedure you cannot go wrong with Dr. Rosenelli. I recommended a friend to Dr. Rosenelli a few months later and he had a procedure done and is very happy with the work and final results .
Don't waste time reading reviews from other people that try to tell the story in 3-5 lines. This is a complete and accurate account of the entire cycle.I met and talked to Dr. Rosanelli in Campbell in July of 2022. At that time I discovered he has 4 offices around the nation but he is in Campbell about 6 times per month (that's what I saw on a calendar at the time). His staff is courteous and professional although I scheduled in Campbell and I received a message that was not entirely clear about the location. I was told to fill out a form with some information and take some images of my head. A few days before the visit I was told the appointment was online through Zoom so I had to correct the staff to point out the appointment was in person in Campbell. When I arrived for the scheduled appointment I entered the building and found suite 160. I knocked 3 times because there was no bell which I found strange. I waited for a while but nobody ever came. I stepped outside and called the office at 1-800-743-4247 (1-800-743-HAIR). I told the secretary I was on site and only at that point I was able to get in. Nancy assisted after that. She gave me a piece of paper that I had to fill out on both sides. I went to another room where she asked me more questions. After about 10 minutes Dr. Rosanelli came in. He checked my hair, asked me what I was looking for and I asked him what my options were based on my situation. He estimated the amount of grafts needed in different areas and provided an estimate for the work. I paid a first installment on the same night ($4000) and scheduled a time for the hair transplant. The hair transplant procedure was scheduled in August in Campbell at 6AM. At that time I met Tiffany who asked me some questions and asked me to prepare for the medical procedure. The actual procedure (FUS) did not start until 7AM. At that time Dr. Rosanelli extracted a strip of about 2200-2400 follicoles from the back of my head (donor area) and made incisions for the hair to go in (recepient area) until about 11AM. Along with the doctor there was a team that consisted of 5 ladies that helped in the process of separating the hair follicoles: Tiffany, Nancy, Kimberly, Jennifer and Rose. When the hair was ready for implantation a team of 3 of the ladies worked in the back and on the sides of my head placing hair where the incisions were made. After a while I was able to take a break for a short lunch that I packed at home. The implantation continued until about 4PM. Dr. Rosanelli returned to stitch the back of my head, the 12-inch U-shaped strip where the hair was extracted. During the procedure I was sitting on a chair that was not very comfortable (think about a shorter dentist chair). I watched TV (when I was not drowsy and sleepy). All in all the procedure went well, Dr. Rosanelli was funny, sarcastic and outspoken. The ladies were lovely, patient and friendly. My procedure lasted until about 5PM when I left with a bag of medications and instructions for the next week. The team kindly provided everything I needed for the recovery phase in the bag so that was very nice (I did not have to make a trip to the pharmacy and waste time in line). I was advised not to drive so I got a ride from my girlfriend. The recovery phase started after that and I was in pain for about 2 days. The top of my head (recipient area) did not hurt at all. The back of my head (donor area) was stitched so that felt painful. Sleeping with chin/head tilted up was somewhat challenging but I managed although sleeping was not so easy until about the 4th day after the procedure. Washing my hair and applying the provided ointment or spraying the saline solution was not something I could do on my own so, luckily, I got help in the process from my girlfriend who made things much easier (I do not believe any of the listed activities could be done unless you are assisted). The stitches in the back of my head went out 2-3 weeks later but I had to schedule 2 appointments to do that in 2 stints. Nancy helped the first time. Tiffany helped the second time.By
I am absolutely convinced I made the right decision in choosing Dr. Rosanelli for my hair restoration procedure! This is a long overdue review, but after my procedure in May 2019, I have been ecstatic with the results ever since then! Dr. Rosanelli was genuinely concerned about developing an appropriate hair line, density, and in blending with the existing hair. He communicated exactly what he thought he could for me. At age 59, I had one procedure, and I am extremely happy with the outcome! What convinced me to proceed with Dr. Rosanelli is the fact that he has a vast amount of hair restoration experience, and he is truly concerned that the outcome is pleasing to me....read full review
