I have been to this place a few times when I was growing up and flying out to California to visit relatives of mine. I always loved swimming in the heated pool, and every massage therapist I've had were all very good at their jobs and very nice too. I would love to fly out come back again sometime with friends, it would really make a great mental health break for me! :)
OMGGGGGGG you have to come experience the mud bath package.
My friend and I stayed one night in their lodge. The room was so cute and cozy. They had all the things you need for a nice stay. We loved wandering around in our comfy robes.
We did the mud bath package the first day we arrived. It was AMAZING. We did the bath part with rose oil and petals. I felt like a Victorian princess.
I still cannot believe how huge and hot the pool is. Something I’ve never experienced!!
I had the poke bowl by the pool and it was incredible. Sooo good. The drinks are yummy too. I did a nice relaxing yoga class the next morning that was free!

Calistoga is such an amazing town. What a beautiful refreshment than being in downtown Napa proper. After staying at the Archer we decided to experience a smaller more historical hotel. The mud bath experience was out of this world with amazing staff and amazing great new spa experience that I have never had before. The Buddha pond was also a great way to unwind after the spa experience where you can see the natural spring and water processing situation for the hot spring. The pond was gorgeous and even though you can’t touch it. The beauty makes you want to. Do not touch it though as it is above 200 deg F! lol.
