I used to get my curls at the Deva Curl Salon in Culver but then they closed. Turns out Sarah got her curly hair training there so that was lucky. She gave me a great cut that really pumped up the volume of my curls. And great advice about product application. Also I love the location of the salon in the Burbank mall.
I love getting my hair cut now that I've found a curly hair specialist! I didn't realize how much of a difference it makes NOT to get my hair cut as if I'm going to wear it straight when, in reality, I never touch my hair after it's washed.
Sarah's space is cute, she's friendly (and interesting -- always has some good food or travel tips if you need 'em), and she gives great recommendations on how to style your cut after your first session. (As I said, I'm too lazy to do any of them but grateful for the tips!)
