I had taken my PC to Micro Center once for a failed repair and then to Best Buy four separate times, but the issue kept coming back. Mike was the one who finally took the time to properly diagnose the problem and determine that the SSD was the root cause. Once that was addressed, my PC worked exactly as it should. On top of being knowledgeable and professional, Mike was genuinely pleasant to work with. Because of Mike, I finally have a working system and peace of mind. If I had got Mike the first time it would have been a 5 starts. Mike is the hero of bestbuy
Geek Squad has improved since the last time I went when they were scrambling to have technicians and no appointment was respected. I had an issue with a laptop, made an appt. on line, went and discovered a better layout and customer service. We got helped right away, they identified the issue, they called an hour later to choose a part and the laptop was ready for pick up the next day. They had to change the hard disk. We did get the membership and it was worth it (hope I won't need it again, but it's a nice peace of mind) because we were told they had to change the battery as well. Unfortunately, they don't carry those (in the past, we had to get them from Fry's close by, but since it closed, we ordered those via Amazon, delayed shipment, not a fan) so we came back after a week to have it replaced. It was ready next day. So, hopefully this will help. We did get the help, some people working here are nice and give you good tips. More improvement overall.
Geek squad was amazing. At the Best buy in Burbank, the team was fast and efficient. They didn't waste any time. They were more than accommodating even gave me a new bottle of water while I waited. I give this a 5 out of five
