But very soon I was deep into theory as well as learning picking patterns and many songs that I wanted to learn as well as many that I hadn't considered when I started. If he didn't know a song I wanted to learn, he did by the next class or two. He would not only teach the song to me, he would write up the tab for me in my notebook. I learned a ton very quickly.
