I’m updating my review because this used to be my go-to nail salon. I came here at least four times over several months, was a repeat customer, and always tipped well.

Recently, though, the customer service has been very disappointing. I left two voicemails trying to make an appointment and never received a callback. I called again on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before I was finally able to reach someone.

The only appointment I was offered was the following Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. I explained that I have four kids with after-school sports and simply asked if there was any other availability, even in the morning.

I'm new to the area and decided to try La Niña Nails for a fill and a gel pedicure. I made an appointment, arrived on time and then still had to wait about 20 minutes. The ladies were all very friendly but oh so slow. I had a 2:30 appointment and walked out just before 5. My nails looked good after both services but neither fingers or toes lasted. Pedicure started chipping 3 days later which should not happen with gel. 3 broken nails shortly after my initial fill which leads me to believe that they use inferior product as I had them put on a new set. Prices here are about average for the area but I really feel like the service should last 2-3 weeks. I don't have time to continually repair broken nails and it's no fun to go around looking like a mess. I will be going elsewhere next time.

I called and made an apoointment for a regular Man/pedi. I arrived at for my appointment ony to remember that I had been to this salon before and had not returned then. The nail tech was finishing up and so I waited. I always bring my own color polish because I like the brand and the colors they offer (OPI). When the woman was ready she did not bring a bowl to soak my nails. Oh, she will probably shape them then saok one hand and then the other. Nope that never happened. She used cuticile lotion and it was all over my hand and gooey. I asked to wash my hand before she proceeded to polish. she was very nice but seemed a bit unsure and she was clumsy and spilled the polish twiice. We are finally finished with hands and I appreciate that my nails will have a long time to dry and cure while the pedicure is done. Well, if you want to sit in your chair and soad in a plastic tub then the price is chaeper. If, you want to use one of the two pedicure chairs it is an extra $10.00. Now it is above usual pricing but I want to move on. The pedi goes pretty much the same as any other salon. But, as with my hands she does not do the same thing to both hands or feet. I want to go now. I ask the price and get ready to give a card but they do not take cards, not even Debit cards. However, they do use Zelle. Lucky me!! Get out the cell phone; go to my Bank's app, etc, etc. My car fob is in my purse not digging theough my purse for keys. I get home in about 10 minutes and when I get in the house and check the mani with my glasses on there is a smudge, a divot and another smudge on my right hand as well. I have been in the salon more that 2.5 hrs. The manicure was setting the entire time of the pedi. I am very angry but now surprised. They leave you in the spa chair for your pedi to dry; they have no fans, no dryers. Perhaps, they excel at Acrylics or gel but they certainly do not meet basic standards for a regular mani /pedi in my opinion. I will never return to this vendor. Take this critcism to improve your offerings and get real with no cards.
