Working with Christy was an absolute pleasure from start to finish! She went above and beyond our expectations on our remodel. Christy’s warm, calm, professional demeanor and expertise made the remodel process so much less stressful. We took a 1950s beach cottage that hadn’t been remodeled since the 1970’s and completely gutted it. Christy was instrumental on working on the new creative floorplan right through to the finishing touches. She took the time to understand our vision and worked with us on every detail from color palettes to bathroom and kitchen design. Working with Christy B Home Design has been an excellent experience! We used Christy’s services to re-design a workout space and an adjoining storage area. For us, an ideal designer is someone who can 1) propose interesting and creative design elements that we wouldn’t think of on our own; 2) devise innovative solutions to make any space more functional; and 3) communicate well with contractors to ensure a smooth process and a high-quality result. Christy delivered on all fronts. For example, she maximized the wall space in our workout room by suggesting a mirrored barn door, which not only looks fabulous, but also separates that space from the adjacent storage room.... read full review
There are not enough adjectives to effectively express the superlative service of Christy B and her consistently extraordinary results. She listens carefully and understands our needs — in many ways better than we do — and synthesizes seemingly random complex collection of ideas into a solid, actionable plan. Of course, there are times when issues arise and, when they do, rest easy knowing that having a trustworthy ally that treats each project as her own is key to success.
