went to the shop day they scheduled me. it was closed. when i called they put me on hold just to tell me it’s cancelled. no heads up or anything i even was gettin reminders to go to the appointment but they didn’t even have a reminder themselves to call off that appointment? wasted time.

The time given for a appointment doesn't mean that it's your turn it just means drop you're car off at this time. The installer was nice but did a really bad job on my truck. Both front windows have bubbles and debris in-between the tint and glass, and the back window has bubbles all around the edges

This is my 3rd experience with Jet Black and they didn’t disappoint! Mike was amazing and I can’t recommend them enough! I am so happy they opened in Alameda! They are top notch!
Update: This is not my review. It was posted without my consent. The tint placed on my windows was not ceramic and I had to have it removed and replaced after a year. Alameda Jet Black did the work. Michael you are scandalous!

Don’t recommend this place. First had an appointment at 9:30am on a Saturday, but there was no one at the shop and no one was answering the phone. Around 10am the shop was opened and I was informed that my car may not be finished due to short staffing which is 100% okay. I left and was expecting a call waiting 4 hours as I was quoted online that the car would be finished in 2-3 hours.
4pm comes around and still no call, so I tried calling a few times and was not able to get ahold of anyone. I ended up heading over a little past 5pm to check the status and the tinter confirmed that the car couldn’t be finished and I would receive a text message confirming when to bring the car back to be finished. No text came and no appointment was made. Outside of the car under the windows and inside was left dirty with the solution they use. Also this is a brand new car and there was a cut in the door leather that I know for a fact was not there prior to bringing it in.
Almost every window that was worked on had debris under the tint and jagged edges. Since then I’ve left voicemails and an email trying to resolve this as I don’t feel comfortable with them finished the rest of the car. I’d rather have all the Tint removed and a refund.
