“Citywide Tree Service gave me a bunch of mulch via my ChipDrop request. I was nervous about it due to the other review, but my experience was wonderful. They texted me beforehand to confirm the drop and the location. They came on time the next day and dropped the load as expected. They also helped me to adjust the pile since my drop site was a bit small.

The mulch itself was very nice. Lots of reasonably sized wood chips and fragrant with all the pine needles.“

Carlos brought his team which had appropriate gear and devices to climb up the tree and thin out ,and remove old dry branches and this was 5 days prior to unprecedented wind and severe weather in Pasadena.

“I was really pleased that Tony could see what needed to be done. His crew trimmed my many large trees all around the house, shaping them well. They then followed up with several landscaping plans that I had been considering and putting off. The crew was professional and worked hard through their several days here, even working through light sprinkles one day. The price was fair, and I felt Tony had my best interests at heart. I was especially pleased that Tony wanted to reuse and repurpose items I already had on hand--specifically all the stones and old pavers, saving me money and time, as well as being ecologically sound. My end goal is to make my yard less labor intensive, and one thing he suggested is to have a twice-yearly cleanup and trim from his crew so things don't get out of control again. From a total yard clean up, to tree trimming and anything in between, OC Tree Care is reliable, arrives on time with excellent equipment and skill. On one occasion, we actually needed to have a very tall pine tree removed from our front yard, we loved the tree and were sad to see it go. OC Tree Care helped us keep part of the trunk and cut it down so that we could use it on an upcoming landscaping project. The team is great, personable and professional, jobs big or small. Carlos is so great to work with, gives a reasonable quote, answers any questions, is friendly and always makes sure that the project is completed as planned and as scheduled! “This company is what excellent service is all about. First of all, the did not charge me $250 to evaluate my tree and give me an estimate, like other companies. My Liquid Amber had a heavy branch that was in jeopardy of breaking off, it had a few, small, dead branches, and it needed to be shaped and thinned. It now looks wonderful! They did an amazing job! The workers were very professional and the price was reasonable. (Don't get me started on the $3000 the other tree service I got an estimate from, wanted to charge me!). So if you want a good job at a reasonable price by professional, nice people, look no further!“

“What I see in these reviews is a love them or hate them thing. Tree trimming is very difficult work and yes you can look for faults in an operation trying to accommodate thousands of trees in trimming, removal, and stump grinding. Arborists also do not grow on trees and cannot be readily available to make observations on every trees situation so one has to compassion for men whom have scaled and trimmed in high heat and arduous conditions for sometimes not doing a complete clean up. Often, the missed branches when trimmed are green and blend in and cannot be seen until after a few days of desiccation to reveal them. Anyway, now to my point, Great Scott is an honest and trustworthy company supported by good people trying to perform a great service. Take it from a manager of 40K trees.“
