They don't call you back when you leave a voice mail and in many cases don't answer the phone. This needs to be addressed.

It was a pleasure working with Benjamin. I normally do my own taxes, however, this year my wife and I had a complex return. We sold a few different properties and bought a new house in 2023 so I wanted to get help from a professional who can help with our taxes. I was stressing about doing our taxes and I wasn't sure who could help. I was also in need of help quickly because the June 17th deadline was just days away. I found Koala Financial & Bonita Tax Service on yelp and sent them email to see if they could help with my situation. I was pleasantly surprised when Benjamin replied to my email about 20 minutes later. I had a lot of questions so we began emailing each other back and forth. Benjamin was very quick to respond. He was also very helpful and provided all the information I needed. I was not able to go to the office in person due to work, however, I was able to send over all my documents through their secure portal. Once I sent the information, Benjamin took care of everything. My return was filed electronically, the payment to the IRS was processed quickly and I received the state refund about a week later. If you have a complex tax return, I would definitely recommend Koala Financial & Bonita Tax Service.

Bobbi filed a two tax returns for me the past year. I reached out to him about filing another tax return around march. He confirmed. I reached out to him at least two other times. He never responded. I called and left two messages. I was totally stressing because April 15th was approaching. He totally left me hi and dry. April 15th passed, he never called or emailed me back and HE NEVER FILED A RETURN FOR ME! I had a few days to find a new accountant and that was impossible. PURE NEGLIGENCE! I am filing a complaint with the CA CPA board.

I met with Alex Wymore at Koala Financial & Bonita Tax 5012 Central, Bonita bc to file my 2023 income taxes. I brought all the documents Alex requested including my (original) 2022 tax folder from the previous year filing with H&R Block. When I returned to the office, I signed the 2023 Federal and State documents. At that time I requested the return of the 2022 tax folder and was told they couldn't find it. Alex wondered around the office and wasn't sure where my 2022 tax documents were. I became concerned and lost confidence in my choice of tax filing. There was a number of things that raised red flags. I called Alex and left messages , I text him numerous times and he never responded. Eventually I called Mr. Koala and left a message about my concerns but he never responded. I may be an insignificant client to them but it was the first year of filing after the death of my husband June 2023. I was looking for a helpful and understanding CPA to offer support tax guidance. Today I still don't have my 2022 tax documents. Hopefully eventually Koala will find my 2022 documents and return them to me. I won't be a client next year and I think they will be happy about my decision.
