Jim Skoien is an excellent acupuncturist. He was trained in China and has taught, consulted and treated thousands all across the country and world. He is extremely knowledgeable about general health and his office is clean and comfortable. I always feel better after a treatment. I Highly recommend .
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Skoien for years. He is educated in all parts of the human body and more so than many M.D.s I've known. He is kind, gentle, and so smart. We have gone to Dr. Skoien for many aches and pains, and we always leave feeling better.
I was lucky to find James I just wish I knew about him sooner. I was struggling with a pain in my right arm for two months and nothing was helping. I almost lost my grip and thought I could not go back to normal any more. It was just getting worse every day. Finally I started looking for acupuncture practices . In spite of very little reviews here I gave it a go. OMG I wish more practitioners would be like James and more people would leave their honest reviews here. First, he is so knowledgeable and did very precise first exam and knew exactly what muscles to treat and why they were hurt. Second he combined his 37 years of practice in 2 hours of my session used not only needles but other equipment and the pain was gone immediately after a session. In 2 days my hand was functioning like before and in 4 days after I almost forgot I had a pain. If you have any injuries or muscle problems James is your guy. I am even planning to come to him all the way from LA if I ever need it again. This is how good he is. Third I was trying to schedule a second session right away ( just in case I needed it) he didn't upsell me :) . Just didn't want to do it until I really knew I needed it . What a guy! He is really THE BEST MASTER at his practice that I personally have been to. Thank you
