About La Prairie Spa Beverly Hills
La Prairie at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is a Forbes Five-Star Rated Spa that provides a luxurious retreat with a variety of signature services and nourishing treatments. Guests can enjoy the Got Caviar facial, which is often described as wonderful. A gentle and knowledgeable therapist can leave the skin soft and glowing. However, some visitors have noted that the facials seem product-focused and may lack sufficient facial massage. The massage services have received mixed feedback; while one guest reported a subpar couples massage, another praised the amazing hot stone massage given by a skilled therapist named Jordan. Natasha, another massage therapist, has gained a strong following for her healing touch, especially for those recovering from injuries. The spa is considered a cute, not-too-busy oasis, serving its purpose well. The massage tables are heated and adjustable, and the spa offers complimentary champagne and snacks, making for a cozy experience. Despite some shortcomings, many guests leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.
Insanely expensive, no real amenities and after spending a grand, we were told we couldn't use the (empty) pool because it was for hotel guests only on the weekends. I appreciate not wanting your pool to be overrun by day players, but all the faux fawning feels even more hollow when you'd rather have an empty pool than make paying customers happy. Having said all that, this is a spa review. And the spa itself was sparse, Vanessa gave me the best massage I have ever had.
La Prairie Spa at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills was my first La Prairie spa experience, and it delivered.
The spa is located on the second floor of the Waldorf Astoria. It’s on the smaller side, with a max occupancy of 34, but honestly, it feels best when there are far fewer guests. The space is beautifully maintained with a very refined, high-end feel.
I booked a 90-minute Relax massage using a gift card. Justin was my therapist, and he was excellent. I shared a few areas to focus on, and he not only addressed them, but worked on them in ways I hadn’t experienced before.
