I booked my first appointment with El at 9:15am last Friday, September 13. I had had a shoulder surgery a week before and could not wash my hair yet, so I just wanted a wash and blow-dry. I came and the salon was closed. I waited for 10 minutes yet no-one showed up. El called me around 10am and apologized as she had some emergency. I thought she would offer something to make it up to me, but she just kept apologizing. I understand that things happen, yet for this you have your clients' phone numbers so you can call them and cancel before your client shows up in front of your door. DO NOT DYE YOUR HAIR HERE. I trusted Armie with my never dyed hair. The first time was good, I had nothing else to compare it to. I went in for root touch ups and she let me walk out of the salon with bleached roots and dark ends. I had to go back to fix the color. Armie decided to dye my hair brown to fix this mistake. It was uneven, patchy, and there was strange shades of green in my bangs. Please support another business. I recommend 542 salon in Beverly Hills. They fixed the damage.

I've been walking into this place since they opened five years ago. I took a risk and went soon after the Corona lockdown wanting to support the business. This time the stylist messed up my hair, a person inside was not wearing the face mask, and there was a triple charge to pre-Corona time. What was to be a quick and hopefully safe touchup, turned to uncomfortable 2.5 hours inside closed door in a tiny salon. And now I need to wear a hat.
