I have seen many osteopaths in my life in the US and in the UK and dr Hakimi is by far the best. He has a unique sensitivity and can sense where all the imbalances in your body are and has the skill then to heal and correct them. He has an incredible subtle and gentle touch which prevents unnecessary flares. He also has a patient and very kind yet knowledgeable bedside manner. He has an answer and solution for just about everything. With Dr Hakimi you’re getting the Rolls Royce of osteopaths and healers in general. He healed me when noone else could - when no one else could even diagnose the problem. If only there were clones of him the world would be a better place.

Dr. Hakimi is treating me for sacroiliitis. This disfunction is to blame for back pain in 20% of sufferers and yet is chronically overlooked by our f'd up healthcare system. I went to Dr. Hakimi several years ago, but didn't continue going because of the cost. Then I went to MANY other doctors and did two years of entirely unproductive PT before returning to Dr. Hakimi for a second opinion for surgery. I've had back pain for OVER TWENTY YEARS and no other doctor diagnosed me correctly with sacroiliitus (just look it up, you'll know immediately you have it if your pain is located in a specific part of your lower back). Last year I could barely walk a few blocks due to severe pain in my lower back...and I was 38. A few years before I had back surgery when my L5/S1 disc ruptured. I wish I had never had that surgery (always get a 2nd, 3rd even 4th opinion before permanently damaging your body. ) The pain was worse after the surgery and prevented me from doing most of the activities I love.
